Made in USA (kind of...)

Wednesday 29 June 2011 at 08:07 am

Cars.com American-Made Index tries to define just what is an American Made car or truck. This year's list put a Fk'N "rice-burner" at the top of the list! This year's poor showing only has 3 GM products, 1 Ford, & 1 MOPAR, out of the Top 10. CEOs Akerson, Mulally, & Marchionne ought to be completely embarrassed with the poor showing by the Big-3! Hey you guys, what happened to the quaint old idea of the Auto Business supporting the local economies?

I feel that this is a survey that ought to be printed off in BIG TYPE format & stapled to the forehead of every every politician in Washington. It's no wonder that the US Consumer has lost confidence in our political system & feels that they can't trust business execs. Every 4 years, we have to listen to the constant stream of crap-o-la from politicians that talk about "creating jobs", with no plan. Is it just a coincidence that China's economy is booming & they strictly enforce high tariffs & tough Domestic Content Laws? I think not. Thanks to the Harvard MBAs, the USA the only country that holds unfettered Free Trade so dear & we've paid dearly for that misguided policy.
