Hunting In Michigan

27 09 09 - 22:57 This is a great time of year in MI. I love to be out wandering in the woods when the colors are this fabulous & the air is cool & crisp.


My hunting buddy Bill was in from an overseas assignment & along with his daughter Megan, we hit the woods up in Lewiston, MI. The leaves weren't down yet, so you really can't see jack in there & that's our excuse for only getting 1 lousy grouse. I didn't care, because I thought that it was good to be out in the woods with the dogs for the 1st time in a couple of years.

The bonus to the weekend came when I ventured to the west side of the state, to an old-time scrap yard that Hiser told me about. He was there a couple of weeks ago with his kids. What a trip!!! I hope that they had as much fun as I had!
